The mission statement of the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business is “serving the NC State community through innovation and action in the development and management of the University’s physical, financial, and human resources.” As of 2011, the Office consists of the following units: Business Operations, Campus Enterprises, Centennial Campus Development, Environmental Health and Public Safety, Facilities Division, Finance and Resource Management, Human Resources, and the Treasurer's Office. These units report to the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Business, and they provide infrastructure services essential to supporting the students, faculty and staff of the university.
